15th International Specialized Trade Fair
for Measurement Equipment and Automation
“MERA-2009”

The exhibition is organized by the exhibition company Euroexpo, Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology, MNTO PM, with assistance of JSC “Expcentre”.

MERA-2008 is held as the official event of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology as per the schedule of the RF Ministry for Industry and Energy and will take place simultaneously with Pipeline Transport exhibition. The aim of MERA-2008 is to present the modern achievements in the sphere of development, production and effective use of measuring devices, being the material basis for the Russian system of measurements uniformity, acting under conditions of the market economy, harmonized with international rules and norms of technical regulation in the world trade.

MERA-2006 was a success. About 80 Russian and foreign companies from 8 countries have presented measuring equipment at “MERA 2006”. Specialists were able to visit expositions of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, MNTO PM, Geo Total, Navgeokom, Platan Components, SONEL, Stroylazer, Stroypribor KTB, Condtrol, Techknow, Ecokhim and others. Information on more than 15 Japanese companies was presented at the stand of the Japanese Federation of the Measuring Tools, for the first time exhibiting in Russia. During the Trade Fair working days the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology conjointly with VNIIFTRI and MNTO PM ( International Scientific and Technical Society of Instrument-Makers and Metrologists ) hold the “Modern Tasks of Elaboration and Higher Effectiveness of Measurement Instrumentation in Construction” Seminar.
